Social Bookmarking:
Microlinx can also be used as a social bookmarking
service. Just add the cool "Most Popular Links" or "Most
Recent Public Links" panels to your desktop page to see
what other people in the system are bookmarking.
Individual users can set their links as public (default) for sharing
throught the system or secure the links from prying eyes
by setting them to private, effectively hiding them from other Microlinx
members. |
Preferred Search:
Since real people are bookmarking and reviewing the
sites in the Microlinx System, that means those sites
contain current and useful information. Spamming is
prevented so multiple links will not appear more than
once, and if too many similar links are posted by the
same user, they are deleted. We also monitor the system
continuously for problems and will delete any account
that attempts to abuse the system. |
