| What is Bookmark Management? |
Microlinx Bookmarking System is an online
service to improve your ability to visually recognize and
to better organize your favorite web site pages.
Bookmark management is done through your own private
virtual desktop space and requires only a simple browser toolbar
to act as a replacement for the existing browser based
Add to Favorites tool.
Microlinx Bookmark Management offers a better way to manage your
online favorite
links. |
The Problem:
Most "Add to Favorites" browser tools
create a difficult to navigate and manage list of your links.
Once you exceed about 30 links, real bookmark management is
needed. Bookmarked sites saved on a local PC will be
lost if that disk crashes or if the PC operation system
is reloaded. This is a common problem. |
The Solution:
What is needed is a Bookmark Manager that runs on a web
server that does not require a desktop widget or
installed program
to view your links, we use only a standard web browser and a
simple toolbar. We also give you the ability to access
your links from any computer in the world using any easy
and fun drag & drop organization method. |
Sign Up & Install Toolbar.
A simple two step process will open your
account and install our toolbar on your PC.
Our toolbar is guaranteed to be free of adware or
spyware. |
Using Microlinx:
Once your toolbar is installed, just surf
to your favorite sites and then click the
"Bookmark" button in the toolbar. Your home page will
load, then you simple point to a target location and
left click your mouse. The link is dropped into place. |
Widgets Galore:
Microlinx does more than just save your
links. Links panels can be replaced with preset widget
panels to display world news, stock charts, weather
forecasts and other useful information which can be
placed anywhere on up to 256 editable page tabs! |
Social Bookmarks & Preferred Search:
Our system also provides social book marks to see
what other sites people are using. This is a great way
to find new and interesting web sites that people are
actually using, rather than poorly designed or annoying
ad sites. This "preferred search" method is a great way
to avoid sites that provide little or no content. |
